We produce mainly dog food and food for wild birds.
Brand names for dog food are Oscar and Sportti and for bird feed Tintti and Talvilintu.
Product series Oscar includes frozen products, fresh products and snacks.
Our products are mainly made of Finnish raw materials. We only use Finnish meat in our production.
Our products are available in most of the pet shops and retail stores as well as in supermarkets all around Finland. Our own shop is situated in Kuopio.
About pet feeding
Dogs have for thousands of years hunted the game animals and used the plants in the nature to their nutrition. Now of days it is not possible for a domestic animal to catch fresh meat in the nature. Today you will find different kinds of industrial made full nutrition products and supplementary snacks for your pets in the shops. Lemmikki Oy manufactures these products too.
Our products offer your pet the most natural nutrition possible. According to our company idea, we will serve the pet feed in as natural form as it is possible. In dog feeding, this means, that the food (meat) is served in the same form as it is in the nature i.e. raw. The dog’s feed should include in addition to the meat, also bone and gristle elements. Meat and gristle meals can be completed with porridge and dry feed.
Do not forget the importance of the raw meat in dog’s feeding!
Our snacks, Dogsalami and Lemmikki Dried Meatballs, are manufactured by the cold drying method, which remains the nutritional value of the feed the same, as it is in the raw meat. The cold drying method does not destroy the product’s nutrients the same way as the warm drying does.
Our strengths in manufacturing pet feed are: pure, high quality materials, professional personnel, wide knowledge and experiment in animal feeding and the latest production technology available. Our opinion is that the raw meat is the foundation stone in dog’s feeding.
